Hello all I've really enjoyed following your boot camp it's been really inspiring and motivating for me. I've lost 7 lbs since January which I'm both pleased and disappointed about... I'm doing a one week mini boot camp to give myself a kick-start as I've not been very strict the last few weeks. Anyone care to join me? Starts this morning from now! 😬

NSV this morning - tried on last year's comfy trousers and they were comedy-hold-out-the-waistband loose. And today I'm wearing my Gap 10s without the button digging into me. And I ran my fastest parkrun this year on Saturday, so Low carbing isn't affecting my performance.

B: tomato juice and half a grapefruit
L: egg mayo
D: Fish pie without the potato topping
S: small half a scone - out for a walk with DH and we stopped for coffee afterwards. Which was lovlel as we rarely get to do this kind of thing, but the available options in coffee shops are meagre!

Mmmmmm Easter dinner! Roast lamb, sauté cabbage, carrots in spiced butter, one Yorkshire pud and gravy.

Looking forward to dinner out tomorrow at a renowned steak place ( a Christmas gift from stepson). They do amazing house made pork scratchings!

Well I've had an awful couple of weeks. I won't moan about it on here but suffice to say with the stress of everything my eating has been terrible. Weighing in at 11,11 today 😔. I'm going to take drastic action and start a 3 day egg fast. Will let you know how it goes hope everyone else is on track

The same here, shocking eating for the past 2 weeks. DH and DS away so I’ve been working extra shifts and getting home at 11 pm some nights. As I do IF and have a first meal around 2/3pm and then nothing until I get home starving, this really messed me up

I’m back to my normal working schedule so I would like to continue to do IF but I’ll be having dinners at normal time at 7 so hopefully I can get everything under control.
Ideally, I would like to do 2/3 weeks of strict LCHF ( with berries and seeds allowed on some days) and then do 2/3 day egg fast to move it along. And repeat
Need to lose stone and half 😖

mickeymacca · 11/04/2018 12:34

well done Melaniecheeks looks like you're doing good!

Hi Mandelinka you can do this. You sound a bit like me...not loads to lose and tend to lose motivation?? I'm quite proud of myself that I just managed to make my children lunch with TIGER BREAD (is there a nicer smell???!!) and I managed to resist
I weighed this morning and the scales did that thing where they showed 11,9 then 11,8 then back to 11,9 so I'm feeling positive for tomorrows weigh in.
food today:
B - egg mayonnaise
L - egg mayonnaise with a tiny tomato chopped into it
LOADS of water - I am weeing for England at the moment!

Still here, just had probs posting so had password reset etc.
Last week wasn’t too bad eating wise, I try to have my first meal of the day at 11 or later (when at work, it’s usually as late as 2pm), breakfast is usually 2 large green teas and 1 coffee when I get to work.
I’ve seen ok loss last week, about 2lbs.
Weekend eating wasn’t great as had friends over etc. However, started excercising and did 1 session of hiit and 2 runs.
Planning to do either Shred or Similar today.

Will post my food later
Have a good day

I'm sorry to hear you're struggling @qumquat, do keep reading though. When I first started thinking I must do something about my weight, I really struggled to get my head into gear over it. I'd never had to worry pre menopause, and I deeply resented suddenly having to watch what I was eating

Waswittyonce · 08/08/2018 09:36

Doh! Posted too soon! What I meant to go on to say was I ended up using some of the weight loss hypnosis offerings on you tube. It sounds a bit woo, but it did seem to help me get in the right mood to begin tackling it.

Total fail. Wrong thread. I'll get my coat .....
