How does bootcamp work when cooking for kids?

Hi all,
I've read the weekly threads with interest and wondering if I should have a go. But I'm cooking for two small children and my OH as well so I'm wondering how it would work. Most days I simply don't have time to cook a seperate meal for them.
How do people manage bootcamp and family meals?

You could cook say
Meat and veg for you
add some carbs for them
One pot meals
Courgette spaghetti for you, pasta for them
Or just eat the same

I just don't do carbs for me, instead making sure I have extra veg.

So dh and ds might get home made burgers with chips, while I do buttered sprouts or cauliflower for me to serve with my burger (and they get some of the veg too).

Or like Ollivander says, do courgette ribbons for yourself while they have spaghetti. Carbonara is popular in this house: ds has it with spaghetti while I do my portion with courgette ribbons. This also works with bolognaise.

Tonight I'm having my dad over for dinner and the whole meal will be low carb but still tasty: roast chicken with celeriac dauphinoise and buttery leeks. I'm also doing a low carb dessert (currently on Boot Camp Lite so can use artificial sweeteners in moderation so am going to make Tom Kerridge's recipe for creme brulee, using erythritol and inulin).

Yikes. I don't even know what erythritol and inulin are!

You don't need to (you're supposed to avoid artificial sweeteners anyway): I only got them because Tom Kerridge uses them a lot in his Low Carb Dopamine Diet recipe book. I bought them from Amazon.

I have done low carb for years without ever feeling the need to use artificial sweeteners. But I love creme brulee, so fancied trying a low carb version.

Dead easy, you just don't eat the carbs, have more of the protein and veg.

I cook the same food but just give ds some extra carbs.

Tonight we're having pork and mushrooms in a creamy mustard sauce with Brussels sprouts, but ds will also have some potatoes.

Tomorrow I might make a lamb curry with some veg (maybe buttered leeks) but ds will also have rice.

One of our favourites is Greek style roasted chicken thighs with veg (courgettes, aubergine etc) and ds will have a toasted pita bread with it.

I don't make desserts, but ds can always have a biscuit or some fruit if he wants anything else.
