The 'stone or less to lose portion size limiting support thread'

I gained this week so I've actually got more than a stone to lose now Sad

It was probably just time of the month, however, I'm pretty sure I won't get anywhere if I keep on mainlining cream!

So far today I've had:

2 coffees with ff milk
2 boiled eggs with butter
Waitrose prawn cocktail (was in a hurry) with salad leaves

Anyone in the same boat?

Hi Jan Smile

I'm loosing weight but very slowly. I'm enjoying this WOE so will keep at it.My appetite has definitely decreased. I had a large meal yesterday lunch time to celebrate my mums birthday and then I didn't eat again until 10am this morning, even then I had to almost force it down as I want very hungry.

Fat really does fill me up.

Hope you're all doing ok. Yes it's a shame but we're bound to lose our last few pounds more slowly than others. Still, it's going to be worth it!

I've been off the wagon quite a bit, but had a sort of revelation last night. Here it is, in case anyone's interested: I've always (in living memory) had a clear idea of what I "ought" to be eating, but then regularly been tempted by goodies, often chocolate. What happens is, I start eating something I "shouldn't" and just think sod it, and have lots.

But now I've decided to accept that I'm most likely going to be tempted, and focus on what I'm doing, and try to stop it as soon as possible. That's the plan, sort-of damage limitation rather than aiming to be perfect. We'll see how it goes this evening (my most dangerous time).

Best of luck everyone Smile

Evenings are my weak point too, when I'm busy I can go for hours without thinking about food. On a evening when I'm relaxing I got used to having a cup of coffee or tea and something to set as a 'treat' that it became rare that I wasn't eating something. I have cut that out now. I figure that we need the odd relapse in order to stay on track. I can't imagine a life without the odd piece of cake or chocolate. The trick is to eat it, enjoy it and then carry on the good work.

Good luck to you too Grin
