CMS closing claim?

I applied for CMS. They managed to confirm my sons dad’s place of work, however he called them and claimed he has no fixed address. He is lying to avoid paying CMS as he said he would if I applied.

I have no contact with him due to abuse. His family are also awful and have moved so no address. Is there anything I can do to have this overturned?

They have all the details related to his place of work. They said they need an address but nothing has come back on HMRC as he privately rents.

would his place of work not have an address? He works for Tesco.

Thanks

What a disgusting excuse for a father he sounds - shame the money can't be taken straight from his wages.
Hoping my response bumps this to someone who can help you.

Different country but my ex has gone AWOL for three years simply to avoid paying maintenance. He cannot be located. He left his job. His mother has moved. He hasn't communicated at all with his children, not even responding to their messages, in that time. In fact he has them blocked on social media.
Where I live you have to go to court to enforce maintenance and you need his address to send a summons to. But the court won't help you find his address. Of course he's registered somewhere, for tax, a car etc but no way to find it.
The lengths some men go to to avoid supporting their own children. And they're let away with it.
I feel for you and think it's rotten...the system is rotten. Hope you get some advice.

Don’t let them close your CMS claim ever - let it rack up in arrears if he never pays. I heard CMS can be deducted from pension when it’s time for him to claim.
