Co-parenting

So me and my partner have been split nearly 3 weeks now, was agreed when we split contact would only be about the child and only the child. He harassed me in my home last week and wouldnt leave, police recorded this.

I've made this co-parenting very easy for him, gave him simple arrangements and he's stuck to them (minus being late to pick her up from nursery once) but he can't help but still throw in nasty comments! Had a brief handover from him today when he dropped off our toddler, she is 2. He asked her for a kiss goodbye and she said no, then he said ok daddy won't be asking you again for a kiss, then proceeded to say Daddy has no fight left in him anymore.(which is what he used to say to me when I ended the relationship) Is he trying to hurt me by going through a child?? Thankfully she's only 2 and doesn't understand his words. Where does it end?? At what point do I say enough is enough and seek legal advice?

He's homeless, sleeping in his car, been offered places to stay and he's said no, so he's picking her up from nursery, taking her for lunch then just driving about with her or else taking her to a park.

I'm getting to the point where I don't want to have any contact at all with him, because he cant stick to contact only about the child, he has to throw in a nasty remark aimed at me, or send me lovey dovey messages, but still want him to see his child. I feel sick at the thought of standing with him for a handover on her, it makes me feel very sick and nervous. She's back with me now, I can relax cos he doesn't see her again till Tuesday.

He is very good with her, but why the hell can he not just keep it simple and only about her?? I'm not responding to the lovey dovey messages he sends me.

It takes time. You have only been separated a few weeks. It's really really tough in the early days.
Try and let his remarks, just go over you.
