There's so much pressure
I have to choose a high school for her and I don't know which one to put down. The one really near or the one she'd have to get a bus to which is money and time
I feel so much pressure on me. I got £70 from her dad towards the end of July and that's it.
It's all on me

Oh I feel for you.
Can we help you decide?
What is the nearest one like?

Tbh if it's not too bad, or the difference between them is small, I would go with the easiest one for you.

Every thing that can reduce pressure or not increase it, we need to do . Since it's so hard anyway.

We really liked the one she'd get a bus to. Really warm. She'd have to get a bus to it, so I guess that's the negative compared to the other one (money and time). It's Not an academy.

The one really close is an academy. It doesn't do drama which she really likes. Some other people have said they're iffy about it because of the other children who go there. That's where the 'rough' people go and they don't want their kids getting in with the wrong crowd (is what I hear). I don't know how much emphasis to put on this?

These academies have more of a reputation for being strict.
Only one of her close friends has put this school down although I'm sure other people from her school will go there.
But we did like it on the open evening.

And it's really upsetting me

More of the people we know aren't going for the near one.

And I feel like I don't know what to do for the best

Have a look to see if you can get subsidised transport cost from your local council, I've just read up on the government website / local council :

Your child is entitled to free school transport if they meet all of the following criteria.
• They go to 1 of the 3 nearest schools suitable for their age and ability.
• They live between 2 and 6 miles from school (or between 2 and 15 miles for faith schools).
• They are entitled to free school mealss_ or your family receives one of these benefits:
• income support
• income based jobseekers allowance
• Child Tax Credit (without Working Tax Credit and with an annual income of no more than £16,190)
• guarantee element of state pension credit
• income related employment and support allowance
• maximum level of Working Tax Credit

I don't believe we'd qualify for cheaper transport.

I gave this form to her dad today to drop it into a particular high school's postbox on his way back to his. She told him. Not much to ask I didn't think. He couldn't do it apparently. He won't even drop a form off at a school. I do so many things for her and he can't even drop off a form for her education

Fucks sake
