Solo mum of four... no childcare available. I enjoy spending time with my kids but I am exhausted by the end of the day, especially as they're getting older - wanting to stay up later etc.. even school term I find myself collapsing into bed. Aged between 7-14.

How do you solo mums find time to do things for yourself? Even as simple as a bath! But also not forgetting who you are / or actually having a life of a new you (especially those who are dealing with toxic people).

Simple things is good to focus on - like a bath - At their ages they should be able to respect do not disturb for half a hour

Also trade things - today is X turn to chose then y then mine and no one can grump at anyone else's choice - help them see you as human as well as mum

Sometime working feels like a break from being a solo mum. Can you listen to a favourite CD on your commute or catch up with a friend on your lunchbreak?
