Hello I’m new here šŸ‘‹šŸ¼

Im a single mum and im looking for places I can take my two smallest children 1 year old and 5 years old (on my own)

I need to find a place that can accommodate both kids with 1 parent and I’m having trouble finding anywhere that’s suitable for us where we can take part in activities such as swimming and rides etc.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or been on the same position as me? I live in Manchester and can get the train anywhere really.

All ideas are welcome thanks in advance!

Parks are your best bet at that age. Nature walks, picnics and if you are brave enough the beach! Soft play is pointless and expensive! I found outdoor walks to parks was always a winner either way my two when they were young. We'd take a little packed lunch/picnic and head off for hours ā˜ŗļø we also live close to the beach, hours spent building sand castles back when they were little! Aww I miss those days, now I have two teenagers who I have to literally drag out for some fresh air.

Hi Natalie
Trafford centre have a fun fayre event which is £3 each to enter and had a sandwich play and water play then rides from £3-5 a go.
If you drive there are loads of fun places to visit like the paddling pool in Cuddington.
Lots of pools all around had deals over summer for fun swims.
Walton gardens near Warrington has a free mini zoo and usually has other bits going on and a decent park.
Local children's centres usually have lots of events on throughout the summer also (but you need to be registered to them)
Beaches are always good too and can be a cheap and fun day out.
Hope this helps
