What job do you do that suits your kids

I'm job hunting after 6yrs at home.
I dont have any degrees etc and most jobs I feel I'd succeed at I'm not flexible enough. Like the advert says most be fully flexible between 8am - 9pm mon-fri.and 8-6pm sat & sun. Which I can't do as I have no help with childcare.
I can't even get my head around school holidays.

So what's your job and how does it suit your kids/family unit?

My kids are 5 and almost 4.

@NeedSleepNow I would love to work in a school. Been looking into it a bit..I have an early.years qualification but haven't worked in early years for almost 15years and feel my confidence is totally lacking.

@Ilikepinacoladass I've seen a few with those hours of even 8.30-5.30. most state shifts are between those times. But I'm wouldn't manage to drop off and get to work in time or finish and pick up in time.

@Tomatowentsplat use your early years qualification! I work in a school nursery, that would be ideal for you. Or look
st training as a TA.

@MissyB1 I think my qualification may be outdated given I gained it so long ago and haven't recent experience. Also its not a English qualification where I now live. So not sure it's enough alone to get into a school nursery. But I am looking into it more. Can I ask in your school what qualifications/experience they look for?

@Tomatowentsplat They are happy with a level 3 early education qualification, or any NVQ level 3 childcare qualification. I did mine through the school as an apprenticeship- age 50!!

I don't work, but my mum is a dog groomer and she works around school hours. Not sure if qualifications are required for that though

Try NHS admin, RTT, booking office, secretarial, coding. Lots of people part time working from home.
