'Hobbie' advice

So I'm not too sure what I'm looking for here so open to offers.
I'm a 25 yo single parent to 2 beautiful girls 3yo and 1yo.
I live in London and as my relationship has recently broken down/ended I am looking for a recommendation on a new 'hobbie'
The things I had in mind all cost loads to do face to face, these were , cake decorating, then maybe dancing. I don't think things like going for walks help because I have a very active brain so needs occupying lol

Don't really know what to do to occupy my brain to stop me eventually getting back with my ex when he's finished with the games :s

With the dc in tow, or do you mean some time to yourself each week ?

Or are you looking for something you can do from home ?

In my area things that are cheap include:
-walking group with other people
-art gallery talks and art groups
-helping at the community centre
-local food growing group
-gardening group in local nature reserve

Oh and there are book groups and craft groups for free in both my local library and community centre.

Okay, so what do you enjoy / did you used to do before having dc?

Music - choir, orchestra, bands ?
A Team Sport ?
Volunteering - either running something such as Cubs or Brownies or a sports Team. Or virtually every organisation needs people like Treasurers, secretaries, Trustees. People who are willing to fill in grant applications are like gold dust. Our local hospice have volunteers who do the garden / volunteer on Reception / teach in the day hospice, or offer therapies or skills / staff fund raising stalls / run fundraising groups - like putting on quizzes and so forth. Dozens and dozens of other tasks, and that is just one organisation.
Governor at a local school
Admin for all sorts of organisations
Volunteer with St Johns (First Aid)
