Training and childcare

I've accepted a place on a part time teacher training course starting Sept. I'm waiting to be rehoused and will become a single parent at this point. Does anyone have any experience of the financial position I'll be in? In terms of childcare, the only way to do the course will be to pay nursery for 2 days. But then will she need to go for another 2 days so I can work to pay for nursery?? I'm expecting to struggle but I'm trying to work out how bad it's going to be. I've tried the online calculator but its not the same as hearing it from someone who knows firsthand.

whats the course?

if it is a university course - do it full time as you will get help upto 85% with childcare and loans and grants - worth being full time,

you will also still get help with housing costs if full time. You are actually most often better off being full time uni with young children and childcare

Thank you for your reply. I'll discuss it with the placement/uni. However I suspect it won't be suitable due to other commitments.
