To take baby for jabs still?

Baby was due 16 week vaccination 4 weeks ago, I cancelled the appointment and they said I'd get another appointment in the post, when it comes through should I still take him during this outbreak?

Yes

Yes, the things they vaccinate against are way more dangerous to a baby than Coronavirus. It's pretty much the only thing our GP's office is still doing. We had DD's MMR 10 days ago and we saw no one other than the nurse, who was in PPE.

Yes, they're very important which is why they're still being booked. If you wait there will be a huge backlog because I'm sure there are a lot of people not taking them.

Mine has his one year jabs last week - delayed twice because of illness and then self-isolating - and I'm so relieved they're done now.

My DS had his a couple of weeks ago. I asked about them still doing them and the nurse said they are as they don't want an outbreak of something else.

Thank you all I shall ring gp when it opens and find out when I can take him

Yes!

My bambino has just been in for his 1 year jabs.

We were the only ones in the whole surgery - was super strange but so glad - they're important, especially in these times. The doctor said baby vaccinations can't wait and pretty much the only people allowed in my surgery now

Yes, they are still doing them, though I’m slightly bemused as to how outbreaks of any of the diseases they cover are possible under lockdown..... Maybe they just don’t want any children to slip through the net once lockdown ends and people are mixing once again.
