At that age I took my Ds to haven . It worked really well

It depends how busy or quiet you like it.
I took my ds to a vineyard in Cornwall. They had a one bed cottage and a gate that opens directly onto a cycle path.
I took my bike and a baby seat and we cycled most days, ate ice cream and went to places on Bodmin Moor, away from the crowds on the beaches.
In the evenings, LO was in bed and I could get wine on-site and sit Looking down the valley and listening to music/ reading. Good for a rest.

Try Real Family Holidays - not for single parents, but all types of people attend and there is no pressure to be part of a group (which I hate)but there are plenty of people around to chat with. I prefer to Haven ‘cos you don’t have to cook! Good value for money.

Another vote for Haven - very child orientated and I liked the fact I wasn't the only single parent there (previous year I went somewhere different and felt like the odd one out as everyone I mean everyone was a couple)

Butlins? Or a b&b twin room.

Another vote for real family holidays

Single parent travel club on facebook
Also lots of places now do bookings where you dont have to pay a single person suplement for one adult rather than two.

I'm gonna recommend Horton Women's Holiday Centre.
Its the least hassle holiday it's possible to have with kids as everything is provided. Down to welly boots, spare raincoats, baby cutlery in the kitchen, potty in the bathroom etc. Big play room full of toys.
Its hostel accommodation and you may have to share a room. But the advantage is that everyone chats and hangs out together so you'll form a little crew of holiday pals.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Top toddler attractions include a nearby field with chickens and sheep, a nice river to throw stones into and a walk to the swing park. (when they get bigger you can take them walking and to attractions Grin)
It is a little bit scruffy but that's part of the charm imo.
