Do other LP throw their young children parties? My DS has just turned 2 and I'm yet to throw him a party. Mainly because of the cost and i also don't have many friends who have children. I see other people throwing parties for their children but wondered if other LP did as well?

Yes, I did. It doesn't have to be expensive. My D's 2nd birthday party with other children & friends he (I really at that age!!) had made through toddler group was just a small tea in our back garden. Go for it!

None of my dc, even when i was married had proper birthday parties till they were at school. I just did tea parties with the cousins and did party bags.

I would wait until my children are in school before bothering with the fuss and expense of a party. 2 and 3 year olds will be happy with a little cake and gift from their parents.

A 2 year old will be happy with some balloons and party food to eat. Personally I think it's fine to wait until pre-school/school to do parties. (4th or 5th birthday) You can get impressive helium balloons at card factory.
