Well, he hasn't given any, and now we are struggling to get divorce proceedings strarted. I explain, mu ex DH left 4 months ago, he now lives, I believe, in London. He will not give his forwading address, we are currently sending letter to tell him about divorce proceedings that I wish to start to his last known work place (which he suggested), and so far he keeps saying he did not get them, the registered one was not signed for....etc so it is starting to p... me off big time.He has seen his autistic son twice so far, for less than 1/2 an hr and has given ?00 towards his up-bringing. I am stating unreasonable behaviour, and rightly so, and he doesn't like it.Don't think I'll be getting back with him so want this to get a move on. My solicitor is a legal aid one, very rare these days and she is not very efficient, but not much choice there.... Anyone's advice welcome! Thank you very much.

did u try CAB?

If you apply to the CSA, they are usually able to track down with Inland REvenue.
That said CSA are horribly inefficient but might be worth a pop.

Thanks for your replies. I have not tried CAB yet, as have got solicitor, but as I said she is not doing much about the address business, she even suggested sending it to his old address, which is mine and me give it to him ... she knows about our history and I think she is a bit insensitive even suggesting it... anyway, will try CAB if we can't resolve this quickly. Not expecting much about money, but I would like him to be confronted with his choices and admit them to a 1/3 party (court) and maybe see an once of shame on his face; I just want to divorce and move on, pronto!!!

put his name and london in the people section and hopefully it will find him

Freckle · 25/10/2006 18:06

If you have a solicitor acting for you, it is unlikely that CAB will be able to do anything.

If you genuinely cannot find him, get your solicitor to get approval from the Legal Services Commission to have the papers personally served on him at his place of work.
