Is there an easy way to calculate what exp should pay for dd?

He earns around £42,000 a year and dd is his only child. He rarely sees her so no overnights etc and I pay for everything.

He is paying £200 month at the moment but I have a feeling I could ask for more?

(not that I am complaining about £400 a month as I know I'm lucky to get that, but he's not living in poverty or anything)

I was going to say I get a pathetic £5 a week for two. But £1.75, £1.67 and 83p?? Bloody hell! I'm aware I would be in the same boat if my ex splits from his partner and having to split the money more ways.

I get £5 because he's on benefits and it would be "unjust" to have him paying more for his children when he's on such a low income himself. But it doesn't stop him gloating about having a new car and going on fancy holidays. Back when I was a lone parent I was struggling to put food on the table, yet he was sunning it up abroad.

83p??????? My bloody god beyond ridiculous! Does anyone know how this would work in Ireland? I live in UK but my ex is in Ireland and his exact words were 'you cant touch me here' when he found out I was pregnant and i asked him about negotiating CM between us. I am due in 3mths and am so scared about money and being a single parent. Do I contact csa? If so when? And how will they find him?

LJAR You'd need to apply for a REMO. I don't know much about it though as I've never had to go down that route. Hopefully this link may be of some use for you REMO
