Week one for me but feeling this looming sense of dread to have to move out of my home tomorrow and sofa surf.

Plan is that the kids stay here - h out of the house m-f and me f-s.

The looming reality of sofa surfing over the weekend is making me anxious. I work long hours 5 days a week - and at the weekend - just want down time and to be at home - to tidy up, do my washing, chill out etc.

I don't want to be a house guest. Maybe I should just invest a cheap travelodge for this weekend for the sake of my mental health.

Will it be OK (it is just for 4 weeks until xmas) or is the idea seriously flawed.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If its only for four weeks, fine, but long term would be a fucking nightmare.

Personally I wouldn't do it (I have 50:50 care). It think it is easier for children to get used to different rules if they are in different houses. I think if the children stayed put you would get a lot of well Daddy lets us. When they one to you it is much easier to do my house my rules.
They do adapt rapidly to having two homes.

That sounds awful. When do you get any quality time with the kids?

Nightmare. Tell your Ex to book a cheap travel lodge for 2 of the weekends and treat the kids to an exciting sleepover in a hotel. They'll love it, you get time to get stuff sorted and fir the other 2 weekends the kids stay at home with you and you enjoy quality weekend time with them.
