Could anyone direct me to any legal literature or official guidance on the difference between the role of a 'supervisor' in supervised contact and that granted under 'loco-parental' status?
My husband got custody of my son last year and insisted that all contact I have with him is 'supervised' by a family member. The problem now is that my ex is encouraging the supervisors to act as if they were legal guardians during contact. This is causing all kinds of problems as they are over-stepping the mark in decision making. I don't want to have to take this back to court as it will mean no contact with my son for months until its settled.
I'm acting as litigant in person - have no solicitor.
I need some official definitions / legal basis which differentiates between the roles of supervisor (which from what I can gather is to simply ensure no danger or neglect of the child being supervised) and that of legal guardian (which has attached parental duties and decision making rights).
Anything to point me in the right direction would be a great help right now. I'm at my whits end! Many thanks mums xxx
