Guys
I am absolutely broke and jobless but not on benefit. I do however got some nice bits of furniture (vintage style) I can sell after moving (been evicted) into a small flat with my dc.
I have chest of draws, bedframe, desk, table, dresser, ikea home storage solutions, coffe makers and even jeans and children shoes and more. If we live in south east london do send me a msg and come around to have a look. You can bag yourself a bargain and I may even be able to pay next month rent :-)
Worse case scenario if you do not like anything, we can have a nice cuppa, while stock last ;-)

I advertise stuff on Preloved, it's free, give it a try.

thank you Jompy I did not know it. I registered. Do I list each item individually?

Or you could use gumtree. It is free for people to reply to your advert so you may get a bit more interest.

I usually watch some items on e-bay to see how much my item might sell for. I try and take a picture on a sunny day and do a bit of a write up (have a look at some other peoples adverts for ideas). I try not to write too much, I have found short and snappy gets better results.

thank you for the advice. wrt to online sales my concern was about shipping. Does "collection only" puts off people?

I don't think you need to specify on gumtree so I never bother mentioning it, most people who reply take it as a given that they need to collect. Gumtree is more of a local thing, you usually post in the one for your local area.
