alone on special days

Today is my daughters 7th birthday, we've been up since 6!! Do you ever get fed-up of being alone on days like today? its like getting up on xmas morning alone, its so depressing. it wasn't meant to be like this. she's having a party at tea time so she's having a good day i think its just me who feels it

i hate going to family dos as all the other woman are part of couples and i feel very conscious not having someone to 'lean on', if you know wot i mean.

i hate saturdays on my own with the kids and wish someone would spoil us and take us out. i agree that weekends friends are normally with their hubbies and kids or visiting family.

i have to say, having the bed to myself (plus ds ofcourse!) and not being pestered for sex is a big plus

Oh family dos know how you feel!
I'm also the only one with kids so miss all the chat as I have to sort them out or go home early.
