Hi mums and mums to be, I'm on a low budget and will be getting most things second hand or given by my friends however I'm more than willing to spend my money on a good stroller that is durable and will last from birth up to she of 3 or something.
Im between stokke and bugaboo, I like both of them and can't seem to choose!
Also do u know if either go on sale Christmas time or cheapest place to buy them?
Any advise would be appreciated :)

I'd look at reviews again again and again - not just on here either! I had a loola for DS3, and then a double Jane powertwin pro 2nd hand for when I had both DS3 & 4 in prams. Both times I pored over reviews, looked at exactly what I wanted in a pram, width to go through doors, weight, etc. and have been completely happy with them.
I don't know a great deal about either of those two, though the bugaboo always seemed quite flimsy and the stokke nice, but way out my price range. As a lone parent (I've been one twice,) I really think you'd be better off saving the money and going secondhand and much cheaper - there's far more important things to spend cash on when there's only one of you making the money! (Hope that all doesn't come out more harshly than intended!)

Online normally cheapest, and January sales worth waiting for if that's an option I should think.

I've had some brilliant stuff second hand - looked brand new but for fraction of the cost. Save where you can, your DCs won't mind!

So January sales are better than Decembers?

jan sales better than chiristmas, but if you know what you want 2nd hand better than all. Some are sold still in their boxes..never used!!!! You can save more than £100 if you've got the time to spare browsing ebay etc. especially in some areas because they are expensive to transport usually they are pick up only.

Also dependin on if you drive you'll need something to get shopping home in I spent a ridiculous amount on my Quinny buzz with all the accessories and used it for less then a year and brought a smaller umbrella folding one with a fair bit of space undrneath.

Hi OP

I don't know how you feel about the Maclaren XLR but it's the one i have and I adore it-it's light weight but durable and comes high in the best buy tables on MN. It also fits in a small vehicle. It will go from birth to toddlerhood and is not particularly pricey.

Hope I'm not muddying the waters with a late contender!
