Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I understand that you can't work more than 16 hours to receive income support but is there an upper limit in terms of how much you're allowed to earn...I'm sure there must be but I can't find it.
Also I'm wondering how you would calculate hours worked. As a supply teacher a day is counted as 5 hours so 3 days a week could be worked and i could still receive income support. However, if I was on a contract of 3 days a week, do I still just put 15 hours for the 3 day a week contract. Is it just for me to put down the hours or will this be checked by DWP with my employer's HR?
Thanks
