CSA Payments

Im intrigued to see how other people receive their payments. Every time I ring them, I get the same answer - you will receive payments when we do.

So, I have been using the CSA for the last 4 years or so, payments should be £75 per week (a pittance for 3 children, but beggars cant be choosers!). It seems that they pay me as and when they feel like it, or there will be a period of regular weekly payments, then a period of very sporadic payments, (e.g. 2 weeks, then 1 week, then nothing for 4 weeks and a lump sum, then going back to weekly). When all said and done, I do get what is due to me, so as far as XH is concerned, his employers deducts money from his salary and leaves the rest to the employer and CSA.

It is so difficult to budget in this way, I would just like to receive regular payments so I can budget accordingly (although when I mentioned this to the CSA I was told that I shouldnt depend on this money and should be grateful for what I get - patronising idiots!)

Does anyone else have similar problems?

I have two dc to my first husnand, they are now 10 and 12 and I am still waiting for the CSA to sort out payments. In 10 years I think I've had about £500.

When my case was first set up it took 18 months for them to make the first payment. Then it went swimmingly - payments regular as clock work - then two months ago things went completely t*ts up. I haven't received anything now for three months. When I called them about it they just kept banging on that the money was for the child. I know it is, but if I don't get it I can't spend it on the child .. DUH!!!
