hi prettyfly, from experience the dna test usually takes in total about a year to come through but not sure if it's different for everyone else..also it's over 99% accurate so i wouldnt worry!

cool not sure if i will be particularly happy with a year but the 99 percent thing is good news.

I've had a dna test done privately. It was expensive: about £400. Very straightforward, a swab is taken of your son's inside cheek, the same thing will be done with your son's father. The samples are sent off & I had the results back within 10 days.

i had a dna test done ordered through the courts and had results back within 2 weeks and that was over xmastime so lots of hols etc, the result was something like 99.9999% accurate

thanks guys, like i said i have nothing to worry about the results for but i still find this very intimidating. really never thought i would have to do something like this and when i know its just a stalling tactic on his part ( all be it an expensive one ). bloody rat!!!!!!!!!
