Where to move from Crouch End? Needs to be near

Hey! we have a 3 year old and expecting a new baby next year.
We are in a 2 bed flat and love it here - lots for friends and family who help with childcare 2 /3 days a week. However we are mindful we are outgrowing our flat and would like a small house with garden.
Finding it hard to know where to go that’s close by and easy access to CE. It needs to feels safe and family orientated (with good schools) but also like London. Any ideas? Looking at Harringay ladder, Bounds Green, Bowes Park if anyone has experience of there? Thank you! X

Grange park
winchmore hill
same train line as ally pally and Hornsea, so near Crouchy

What’s your budget, what comes up on right move etc in your range?

The areas you mention all have lots of young families and great primary schools. They are also full of people who couldn’t afford to raise a family in CE/MH so you’ll find your tribe!

They definitely feel as ‘London’ as Crouch End, possibly more so because of the better transport links, but aren’t as ‘nice’/as much going on in themselves IYSWIM. There is probably a better community of young families than CE now where a lot of the primaries aren’t full due to cost of living.

We moved from CE to the Harringay Ladder and loved it - great community, two excellent primary schools, well connected and diverse. We were on Falkland Rd which is particularly good due to the park at the end.

You could also look at Hornsey and the Downhills Park area N15/N17.

Thanks for all your helpful suggestions! Our budget is max £830k. So would be looking at small houses in those areas which is fine!
wonder if we should just bite the bullet and move hopefully before baby no2 arrives..

This is great to hear! Thank you.
We have seen properties on Fairfax and Effingham Roads
So a bit on the edge for South Haringey catchment area. Do you know much about North Haringey?
