Hello mums,
I am planning to relocate to London from Milan. I am looking for an international school for my two kids, aged 10 and 12. Do you have any experience with Knightsbridge/ Eton s Square or Dwight School?

Knightsbridge and Eaton square are the same private equity- Duke’s (although Duke’s does give the schools a lot of freedom). Both are strong until 11+ and are pretty great for international families. KS has a lot going on outside of school to make families feel like they gain a whole new life in London even if they meet no one else. Most students leave at the 11+ or 13+ stage and exams are extremely tough. It goes to 16 and those who stay love the tiny classes and personalised attention. Those who leave go on to larger schools.
(There’s a teacher who taught in a top Milan school for a long time (Alison Gardiner I think).)

ESS goes to 18 which is a blessing if you stay here for the long haul and don’t which to take the gruelling exams.

Dwight is IB and if you plan on moving to another city with a Dwight school this is great. It’s in a totally different part of London though. Depending on the age, the IB can be softer than the Uk curriculum. Don’t know much of the people in the school or community, but Dwight as a global school is impressive and offers an online school In secondary if your move somewhere without a top school in the future. If you want IB and want to stay around Kensington and Chelsea consider Southbank. Fabulous parent community.
