If I ever get back to London, I really would very much like to try Mere.

It's good, we went once for tasting menu. It doesn't have a good view though!

Flat iron is so yummy! The steak is amazing and only £12!

Duck and waffle. Turn around on the tables are quick though, so it's not a place you will spend all evening.

I second clos maggiore in the Dining room. Their set lunch or theatre deals are exceptional value. With advanced booking, you will be fine for the best seats

Ivy Asia behind st Pauls is really fun. We enjoyed the whole experience

Oh, also, it's a few years since I've been, but Murano used to be amazing. Excellent service etc

I’ve been to a fair few of the restaurants mentioned. Mere would be suggestion.

Roka is nice but no views and wouldnt be in my top 5 choices

@TheAntiGardener I haven’t been for years but Le Vacherin in Chiswick and the Glasshouse in Kew used to be fantastic.

I would go to A Wong. Amazing Chinese food (and the two Micheln stars show I'm not the only one who thinks so!)

Smiths of wapping, ask for a table by the window, fabulous views of the Thames & great seafood menu.
