If it doesn't have to be a musical, The Play that Goes Wrong. Brilliant.

Ilikesweetpeas · 31/12/2017 19:34

I love the Lion King!

LouiseBrooks · 31/12/2017 19:38

Lion King and Wicked are both fabulous.

Bumblina · 31/12/2017 23:56

Aladdin is not great IMO, more like a panto!

espoleta · 01/01/2018 00:18

Book is Mormon

blueskypink · 01/01/2018 00:22

DS went to see Book of Mormon and was a bit luke warm about it.

puppyl0ve · 01/01/2018 00:26

42nd Street or An American In Paris.

MrsMoggy · 01/01/2018 00:28

Kinky boots is fantastic my mum
And I absolutely loved it and I often have the soundtrack on. Wicked is also good but that’s usually on tour somewhere

AlexanderHamilton · 01/01/2018 00:29

There are so many

Hamilton is the hottest ticket around. Reviews are fantastic & odd returns are becoming available.

I really want to see Dreamgirls. Looks fantastic

Kinky Boots is a feel good great night out. Not too taxing, not very deep but History of Wrong Guys is such a funny song & Lola has some great ballads. You can often get cheap standby tickets. It's going to be touring soon.

DramaAlpaca · 01/01/2018 00:31

I absolutely loved Kinky Boots when I saw it in the summer, it was great fun.

I liked Mamma Mia even better but I see you've already seen that.

Thanks all

Also, if mindreading floats your boat, there's a brilliant show on at the Vaults in Waterloo, which has a Parent & Baby performance on Sat 3rd March at 3.15pm: Philipp Oberlohr's DAS FEST:

Wicked is fantastic, I’ve seen it twice. The Lion King was really disappointing, it’s dated a lot and felt very lacklustre, I wouldn’t recommend it.

DamnWhyAreAllTheUsernamesTaken · 02/05/2018 13:27

Wicked! 😊

LockedOutOfMN · 02/05/2018 13:29

Of the four you list, I'd choose Lion King first and Wicked second.

I'd love love love to see Hamilton and recently really enjoyed The Play That Goes Wrong.

MrsJayy · 02/05/2018 13:32

I loved the Lion king enjoyed it more than Wicked which I also loved but somebody else suggested The Play that goes wrong if it is on go see it

tinykirst · 02/05/2018 13:36

Out of that list lion king and wicked are must see shows!

If you want something different music-wise, 'Sounds and Sorcery' at the Vaults is amazing. I did a tester on it the other day - it's the classical music from Fantasia (the Disney film) but on headphones and you walk through all these crazy spaces. It's like a better version of the Science museum.

cantstopthefeeling · 21/06/2018 19:00

I would say Hamilton too - I saw it in December and it was amazing. If not a musical I loved The Woman in Black - totally old school no special effects but really really scary and I just loved it.

Hi All

I'm part of a theatre company producing a new play called 'Alkaline' by Stephanie Martin at the Park Theatre, Finsbury Park, London this month.

It's a world premiere that focuses on the breakdown of a relationship between two friends following one's conversion to Islam. You can read more about it here www.parktheatre.co.uk/whats-on/alkaline/access

The reason I'm putting this on here is because even though we are an off West End theatre, we make sure we programme accessible performances - one of which is specifically for Parents & Babies.

We'd love to welcome you to this performance and hope it will be the start of many more.

See you there!

Calling all theatre lovers who feel that having a baby means they can't enjoy a night out seeing a great show!

A little reminder that 'Alkaline' by Stephanie Martin has it's Parents and Baby performance Tuesday 31st July at 1pm.

It's a double award nominated show with a slew of rave reviews plus there's air con, a buggy park and a welcoming atmosphere.

Catch it while you can as the show closes a week today?

See you there!
