Morning
Dd brilliant
DS almost broke me

Afternoon
Ds brilliant
Dd brilliant

Late afternoon
Dd brilliant
Ds almost broke me. Again.

I reckon hour in morning after ds settled down.

2 hours over course of afternoon.

With another 1hour out in the garden.

Now they’re watching TV and I’m wondering how the heck I’m going to do this for weeks / months!!

I've one boy at school aged 5 so primary 1

He did two sheets of maths - 15 minutes
2 pages writing - 15
Read half a book with his dad - 10 minutes

We watched a 5 minute you tube video about 16th century as in afternoon we went to a old 16th castle ruin in middle of nowhere - 2 hours walking roughly

That was all we did today.

Absolute fail, DS3 ( Yr7 ) did a bit this morning but so far doesn't have a lot set as yet. DS2 ( Yr10 ) has ASD and is feeling completely overwhelmed and panicked by it all. He actually said he wished he was at school which is something I never thought I'd hear him say.
Only good thing about the day was getting them out for a dog walk.

Trying to help my daughter with standard deviation. I had to google but we got there in the end except for 1 question. Can anybody help me out?

I have a DS8 with SEN and DD11. DD did about 2 hours maths and English, DS did about an hour of maths and English needing constant supervision. Both did some reading.

With both of us working from home it's a challenge. We're going to try and do applied science, baking, PE etc on weekends. I'm also going to use the TV as a babysitter and get them to watch horrible histories on CBBC and documentaries about space, nature etc. Some of the good quality stuff is educational.

I'm pacing myself for the long haul and this is my realistic approach.

DS(8) - played times table snap, wrote a paragraph of a story, made a Dali-style model out of plasticine, watched Wild and Wierd about electricity and wrote out some facts he learned, drew a wolf.
DD(5) - designed a homeschool badge, drew the planets and wrote the names and some facts, made a pig and a flower from plasticine, watched Dino Dan and Odd Squad. Facetimed a friend for an hour
DS(1) - cried and ate snacks, hated sensory play, napped
DH and I were tag teaming work and kids so it was a bit ad hoc. They spent half the day in the garden for exercise.

We had a good day.

We did 10 mins mental maths
30mins maths cgp book
20 mins TT rockstars (while I marked all previous work, I'm looking for gaps in her knowledge)

10 spellings from the list we were given
20mins Spag cgp book
10mins reading assessment book
20 mins reading and accelerated reader quiz

Lunch

Facetime friends

Science experiment about friction

Home time.

Then we played games on the switch. We've had a great day, but long term we will drive each other mad, and throw dp into the mix and I'll go slowly mad.
