I’ve offered to do as much virtual babysitting as possible whilst my db and his dw wfh taking calls etc. I’m not much good with little ones, how can I distract her for an hour?
I have some of my own colouring stuff so thought we could try to draw the same picture, make some window rainbows, maybe play one of her games, read a book (could I find an online flip book?)
Appreciate any other ideas
Thanks

Exercise / physical play usually works best for me. A game of Simon Says or dancing to baby shark etc

My kids have just discovered the silly faces and games on Facebook messenger (kids version which I don't think is available in uk but grownup one has it too). That amuses them for ages. There are games too like tossing a ring onto a unicorn horn.

Do you have any family photos? Show her some photos of her dad when he was little and tell her things you remember about your childhood with him. There may even be interesting things about his adulthood which he hasn't thought to tell her: "Did you know that when your dad worked in a shop before you were born, he once chased a shoplifter right up the road but she was too fast for him? What do you think he would have done if he had caught up with her?" "I remember that when your parents got married, your dad was so nervous he almost forgot the ring. Grandpa had to rush around looking for it, but it was in your dad's pocket all along!"

My niece loves masks from Instagram, she can send hours trying them all. And we also create video collages with cat and dog's pictures via Smartshow 3d, we did tons of them already but she refuses to delete any, haha.

Youtube has lots of videos to support home learning. A few I have found particularly useful
