This is my first time on mumsnet, but I hope you can help. I live in the Rowhedge area and am having to go back to work part time and with no family able to help with childcare need to choose a nursery for my DS. Have looked at puddleducks and Kiddicaru, and am leaning more towards Kiddicaru but it would help if I could hear from anyone that sends their child to either nursery - please help!

OOOh, I can help (but poss not the way you want) Hello and welcome first of all

Both my DS (3.5) and DD (23 months) go to Puddleducks and absolutely LOVE it. They are both really well looked after, the nursery has won awards for it's meal and snack programs (healthy eating) and the staff are all without exception lovely. They have been going since their 1st birthdays and I cant praise it highly enough!

I don't know a lot about Kiddicaru unfortunately so I am a little biased, sorry! Any more questions, please ask away!

Welcome to MN...

I have a friend who sends her children to Kiddicaru and they are really pleased with it. That is all I can say about it though, as I don't quiz her too much about the nursery choice.

I used to work at kiddi caru - and still have ties there as the little one I look after attends the morning sessions a couple of times a week.

What would you like to know?

Thank you all for your cooments! Such a big decision. Went and saw both nurseries - really liked both but had a great feeling about Kiddi Caru - the clincher was that we could do termtime only as my husbands a teacher - going to save us a lot of money as well!

Thanks for advice!
