Anyone managed succcessfully to get an exam invigilation job in Oxfordshire? Alternatively what type of home working have you found most successful to supplement income? Would love to hear anyone's views on what has worked for them and might work round a baby (eg evenings 8pm - midnight when DH is home or weekends etc)

I have a friend that works for chocolate for chocoholics (google for site), she seems to do well out of it, much better than some of the other direct sellers. theres also only 2 reps (well as of dec 09) in the whole of oxfordshire - witney and banbury, so if you are in oxford or south of the county, you could do well. just need a cool, dry storage area, hold 3-4 parties a week during the season and process orders once a week, deliveries occur during day too but friend does everything in between school hours.

I've just become a Creative Memories consultant - for scrapbooking and cardmaking. My main aim is to buy the products cheap for my own use, but in the process I can also make money from it, i.e. starting my own business. The commission is HUGE!!

I'm a consultant for learn 4 life. They sell children's educational toys and games. Sooooo easy to sell at parties or events. Message me if you interested. Only £29.99 to join and currently I'm the only one in Oxfordshire!

I became an Usborne Independent Organiser, its great fun, I take my dd with me to playcentres, toddler groups and school fairs. I have now been doing it 2 years. I currently have managed to double book myself for some events during the Summer (and Christmas). The commission and free books we get is great. If you are interested messege me and I will give you more details

Hiya, I haven't done any of the exam invigilation work, tried lots of online surveys etc to try and get extra money, but it took so long for very little ... I now work for Jamie Oliver as one of his Jamie at Home Consultants, I love it and it fits perfectly round my 3 young boys, I can work as often or as little as I want earning a minimum of 20% commission on all sales. You can do whatever suits, but personally I do 2-4 evening parties a month, starting at 8 and lasting no more than 2 hours, coffee mornings where people don't mind if I bring the boys and I often go to mother and toddler groups taking the kids to display my bits and get party leads. I also do summer fetes and charity events.

There is an initial starting fee, but you get over £400 worth of kit and I had personally paid off the kit after my 1st two parties, so figured I had nothing to loose, and would have a well stocked house ! If anyone would like to know more feel free to email me [email protected] or see my website www.partywithjamie.com as we are recruiting in this area, Tracey

PS I am even getting to meet Jamie at his Italian in Brighton in August and am very excited !

Hiya, I work for Betterware and really like it, everything is given to you free of charge for a start so you don't have that to worry about and pay back, you also get your own area to cover so no worry about other reps in your area Smile.

It's really easy to make an additional income plus the hours are flexible. My manager Sophie covers some of Oxfordshire and she is good, that can make all the difference. You need to get out there and do it, and do it like they say, to get the most out of it but it is very easy!!!
If you want to look into it I can put you in touch with my manager?
