'older' mums

Hi I am a mum of 3 and nearly 40. I am also doing a PhD studying the experiences of 'older' mothers. I would be really interested to hear from anyone who has had a baby after the age of 35 (having had a child/ children) previously. I would particularly like to focus on women who had children/ a child early and then had a 'big' gap and went on to have another child/children after the age of 35. I would love to hear from anyone who feels that any of this is relevant to them - it would really help to get my research moving.

Also if anyone else is studying with young children - please let me know how to manage it - I am struggling!

Thanks guys - look forward to hearing from you.

Hi - How's your PhD going? If you need any insights I fit into the older mum, but not big age gap between children!

Hi, I'm 42, bases in Exeter and am a first time single parent to a nine-month old boy. I work mornings but am looking to meet new mums in the afternoons and at weekends. If you fancy meeting for a coffee sometime that'd be good.

Haha- If you're still doing this study you might want to speak to me. I have three teenagers (18, 16 and 14) and a 2 yo and had number 4 at 41.

Also did a PGCE when the older 3 were 6, 4 and 2. Was bloody hard work and relied on family a lot.
