Hi all,
I'm 6 months pregnant but was starting to think about putting our little girl's name down for a nursery or at least looking into some! Do you have any good recommendations, happy to look at ones in Greenwich or Blackheath too

Thanks very much

Mary

Hi
I've never used a nurery for my LO's, but a few of my friends have children in zoom (just off westhorne avenue, eltham)and another at elizabeth terrace day nurery(around the back of the high street). All very happy with the care their children recieve.

My little girl has been at Lollipops in New Eltham since Jan. and I can't recommend it enough. She loves going there and gets all excited when we arrive at the front door. The staff are very open and friendly and seem to take a genuine interest in DDs well being. They have a huge garden area and they use it frequently. When we had all of that snow last month the babies went outside and played!

I sent my son to Zoom in Eltham and was always more than happy with it there - it was the best of the ones I visited - great facilities, happy kids, caring staff, well-structure days, new / good-condition toys. It is run by a lovely team of carers.

There is one that is one the main road from New Eltham up to Fiveways - I pulled DS out of there ythought it was awful - went to pick him up one night and the cleaners were hoovering round him - I had told them that he was terrified of hoovers and the women were just standing around laughing at him as he went ballistic everytime they turned the hoover on.

Eventually settled on the one on Sidcup hill - think it is called premier lodge - it was brilliant, they really loved DS and had a huge party when he left and were all crying about him leaving - they made a huge effort to settle him in and really turned around his food issues through perseverance and kindness - really felt that they went out of their way for us and the ladies couldn't have been nicer and there were lots of older ladies rather than the young kids who seemed to change every few eeks.

My daughter goes to Elizabeth Terrace nursery 4 days each week. The staff are very nice, and my daughter (and indeed all the other children) seem happy there.
