Hi

I'm in High Wycombe too, with a 16mth old girl.

Anyone know of any toddler groups that run on fridays - dont mind what it is - rhyme, music, etc etc

Just looking for somewhere to go to meet folk and let my little one have some fun

Hi WigglyOne,

Have a look on www.netmums.com they have a section under 'places to go' with toddler groups. They also have local meet-a-mum.

Good music groups I have been to are
Kiddley Divey www.kiddleydivey.co.uk
Jo Jingles www.jojingles.com
Teddies www.teddiesmusicclub.co.uk

Hello,

I am in Wycombe too... Hopefully moving to Piddington in the next few months.

I ma mum to dd who has just turned 1 and ds who is 4.

Hello all. I'm also in Wycombe *waves. I'm mum to DD1 who is 2.2 and DD2 who is 7 mnths.

Cherryaid - Piddington is lovely - and there is the soft play are there too - very handy!

The Jo Jingles we used to go to seems to have disappeared - so if you should find one in Wycombe then do let me know.

Wigglyone - I found friday is the one day that nothing was on - so that's the morning i've opted to take DD1 to nursery.

There is Bounce and Rhyme at 11am on Friday for 30 minutes in Wycombe Library in the Eden Centre, which is free.

At 1.45 on Friday for 45 minutes, Rockin' Tots is at St Francis of Assissi on Amersham Hill Road, Terriers, High Wycombe. It costs £4 and is great fun with music, toys and musical instruments for your toddler to shake or bang. Each week is themed, so they learn plenty of songs.

My DD is nearly 2 and loves both.

There is also a new FAB soft-play place on Lancaster Road in the Cressex called PlayTrain.

Better than any soft play I've been to - there are actually windows! Plus lots of space, blackboards and a room full of toys and books...plus decent tea & coffee. Not bad at £3.75 per kid (no charge for adults)

If I move to Wooburn Green/Bourne End are there things to do??!

About to agree a house move, DS will be almost two and baby2 will be newborn and I'm nervous that I'll be isolated and need to drive everywhere to entertain the little darlings.

Any thoughts? You sound a friendly bunch...

chelseamorning · 12/04/2009 17:16

Lovegriff - There's a soft play area in Bourne End called Jungle Mania. It's on Wessex Road industrial estate so easy to get to but watch where you park as they're red hot there with tickets!

MelissaClaire · 22/04/2009 22:14

Hello, I am about to move to Hyde Heath - next week, have DD of 5 and DS of almost 3.

lovegriff · 30/07/2009 15:52

Never thanked you, Chelseamorning, for the Jungle Mania tip. Moved to Wooburn Green at the beginning of June and tried it last week - exhausting!

If any local mums fancy meeting up and sharing some local tips or offloading about how exhausting it is having a toddler and newborn do get in touch. Would love to make some friends and need to start being sociable!
