Hello, I'm actually from Northampton but it's quiet on that board and I'm often visiting friends in leicester anyway!

I'm Hannah and I'm a Doula, I have an 8yr old ds and 16 month old dd.

cheritongirl · 08/10/2007 10:38

I had a doula whne my son was born at home last year and i think you are a fab bunch!

SmileSam · 29/11/2007 09:22

Are you Leicester guys still meeting up? I'm in Whetstone and have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and one on the way. Would love to meet other mumsnetters for coffee/chat.
P.S. Know I am being a bit thick, but where does it tell you what all the abbreviations (ds, dd, etc. are?)

SmileSam · 29/11/2007 13:57

Duh, have just found the 'acronym list', do excuse me!

choufleur · 01/12/2007 19:26

Hi smile. We only met up once. You're not that far from me. Have you been in whetstone long?

cyteen · 01/05/2008 11:35

PrincessConsualaBananaHammock · 01/05/2008 11:54

bayleaf · 02/06/2008 19:33

Hi Princess - I'm in between Thurnby and Melton - about 15 mins drive north of Thurnby - I've met up in London once, ages ago, but never met Leicester mumsnetters - tho I regularly meet a group of ivf mums in Leicester who I met thru the CARE IVF boards.
I have a nearly 3 year old dd and a 7 year old dd.

MONKEYMONKEY · 06/06/2008 13:56

Hi i live near Abby Park does anyone else live near by.I also organise a (( netmums Meetups North Leicester)) at ((netmums.com)) our 2nd meet up is:

FUN and FOOD at the FARM

The Place : Gorse Hill City Farm, Anstey Lane, Leicester
The Day : Thursday 4th September
The Time : From 10am

We will be meeting in the car park although if you are running late just come on in and find us!!

Gorse Hill City Farm is a community working farm in the City of Leicester. A voluntary project which practises small scale humane farming and organic horticulture. You can touch and feed the animals in a relaxed and friendly environment.

There is an adventure playground, picnic area and farm produce for sale, plus a cafe selling refreshments.

Admission is by donation. £2 per adult and £1 for children is recommended

We will be enjoying the farm and then grabbing food in the cafe (or you can bring a picnic to eat outside!!)

If the weather is bad we will have to cancel and re-schedule so feel free to contact one of us on the morning of the event to confirm (or beforehand if you would like more info)

Julie - 07530 265047 [email protected]
Sandra - 07966 263397 [email protected]
Judy - 07908 163938 [email protected]
