Quality of water and skin?

I moved to St Albans about a month ago. Ever since my skin has been itchy and thre are red spots and small patches of rash. Especially neck and upperbody

I have sensitive skin anyways and I always lotion myself from head to toe everyday and it has been pretty ok in the past. Since moving the lotioning is not helping anymore.

I think it might have something to do with the quality of water? I read it's a hard water area so could that have an effect? I'm wondering what you guys think. Am I jumping into conclusions or have you experienced/heared about anything similar?

lol not sure about the skin, but the water in this area is indeed very hard.

Thanks for your responses. Got a water filter to the shower and got some special creams from.the doctor. it's better but not cured yet. If not showering was an option 😁 Im also worried that the flat I live in might have some problems since the insulation is terrible and that can easily cause some moisture

This is interesting. We've moved from north London. Both areas supplied by Affinity Water and I've compared water quality reports for both areas. London's was harder water, higher chlorine, higher naturally occurring fluoride yet St Albans water is irritating my skin. Very strange!
