So I thought I'd start a thread to share our ideas and see what I may have missed.
We like:
Gheluvelt park - going on the exercise machines and in the splash pad.
Climbing the cathedral tower and maybe having a wander around the cathedral itself. There's a lovely little garden off the cloisters where you can eat a picnic
Cycling or scooting over the Diglis bridge and down the other side - there's a cafe on a canal boat in Diglis basin we keep meaning to visit.
Miniature trains at Diglis fields one Sunday a month.

Whitlenge Gardens, near Droitwich/Kidderminster.

Bodenham arboretum

Webbs - the Wychbold one has a big garden centre and lovely riverside gardens, the Hagley on has a Falconry centre which isn't expensive at all.

Little Owl Farm Park off the A449 just past Ombersley is really lovely.

There is also Whitley Court and Gardens, Hanbury Hall, Harvington Hall.

And if all else fails, a sunny walk down the canals are lovely, especially around Salwarpe, Wolverley and Hanbury.

There's a mini golf place in Wolverley.

Stourport is pretty with a riverside play area, arcades and Shipley's fun fair.

Wyre Forest Visitor Centre - Gruffalo and Stick Man trails, play area and cafe with loads of forest walks, only have to pay for parking. There's a Go Ape there too at separate cost.

We drive through Stourport on the way to the Wyre Forest - is the funfair there all year round?

The Valley (previously Evesham Country Park) in Evesham. Miniature train, fort play area, lots of walks, shops, cafe, free parking.

Broadway adventure playground - park out of the village and walk in. Huge playground for all ages, lots of space for picnics and there's a toilet!!

I have just got back from here. I only went to have breakfast but would be nice on a sunny day with little ones.

Clive's frut farm just outside Upton is also good with a small playground. There's also fruit picking at Bells farm shop on the way to Stourport - no playground but loads of different fruit.

I love Clive's Fruit Farm. Many happy memories of strawberry and cherry picking.

Croome Court (National Trust) also not far away. Brilliant gardens (not formal ones) and nice playground too.
