Londoners meet up (or anyone else new to York!)

Hi everyone,

I've just moved to York (Southbank area) 2 weeks ago from South East London with my hubby and 2 year old little boy and although I'm from here originally I know nobody with kids and I only work 2 days a week - there is potential to go a little stir crazy pretty fast!
I noticed from threads over the past year that there seems to be lots of us moving from London to York and looking for new people to meet up, can I suggest a coffee somewhere with a group of us at some point in the next few weeks?
We can reminisce about always having a Gail's nearby and not needing cash for the bus whilst cheering at the crazy drop in our rent/mortgage :D

Hi there ex Londoners! I have just read your thread about being new to York! I moved up from north London at Christmas and am still adjusting to my new life! I have two children aged eight and ten. I would love to meet up with exiled Londoners for a coffee and chat and swap notes/stories about life up here!
