hi everyone i am new to this
and just wanted to ask questions here sorry if this is not the place to ask this well here i go

we been living at a private sector house for 5 years now. we were told can stay here as long as we like, all of a sudden our landlord wants to sell the house, withing one weekend up goes the board and got offers for the house, heart breaking as we made this house into a home nothing like when we moved in, anyhow we have been given section 21, which expires on the 16 may 2015, i have a son who has autism, my son is so bad that he does not have any solids and has so many difficulty's endless lists, now i have put a housing application in as we are in no condition to go to another private sector, my son needs stability, it is really bad for him to keep having changes it is difficult for him to cope with, now our application has gone live and we were put on band D with 0 points. we were devastated as we cannot believe how can this happen we are nearly homeless and with my sons condition how could we not get any priority at all. is there any advise and help that anyone can give which can help us, i am lost and confused do not know were to go and do. also wanted to ask has anyone had a new build given without being an existing tenant with the council. reason i ask we cannot bid for this property's, as we did want one of this property as it was close to were we live now which would have been great for us because of my son professionals and school, i am desperate for some advice and help many thanks

Oh, aysha123, that sounds awful.

I haven't been in this situation, but I might start with the Citizen's Advice Bureau www.citizensadvice.org.uk/housing/. If your son has autism it's difficult to imagine you wouldn't be put at the top of a housing list - can you go back to the HA and appeal?

I hope someone with some first-hand experience will be along soon with some more helpful advice. Best of luck.
