Which senior school is best for dyslexic children?

We are in Woking and my son is in year 4 but we are already trying to consider what the best senior school choice might be, since he's moderately dyslexic and will need support. Any experience of the local state schools or nearby independents and how dyslexics fare, how good the SENCO is, etc? He's currently at an independent school and starting to struggle, so won't get into independent which requires passing entrance exams. We've seen LVS in Ascot and liked it but very expensive and seems to have mixed reviews. Have no experience of Winston/Woking High/Gordons so would appreciate some feedback. Thx.

No personal experience but friends of mine have 3 kids with varying degrees of dyslexia and have found Frensham Heights to be really supportive. It might be a bit of a trek for you though as it's based near Farnham

You are very very unlikely to get into Gordon's unless you live next door. I would also look at the new Hoe Bridge school (state). Salesian Farnborough has been suggested as a possible for a Dyslexic son. more House Frensham if he has more needs. A friend's son went to Reeds after some time at Moon Hall. Maybe Royal in Hindhead?

I'd ask to see around and ask questions at Winston Churchill and Woking High.
