Hello, We are moving to Cambridge this summer and I am trying to find a good school for my two children, who will be in Year 1 and Reception. I am, especially, interested in getting information about Dame Bradbury's and I am wondering if it is commutable from Cambridge? Thank you!

And just to give a different perspective. I've got two at Dame B's and think the changes are turning out in a really positive way. They have a really excellent new head of maths (who was at SPF seniors), the Head hasn't put a foot wrong since she arrived. The main change I'm seeing is that they are raising their game academically (look at the results of the year 6's who've just left), in line with the Cambridge schools, but without becoming as pressurized as those schools. We thought we were joining a sleepy rural school but now there's a real buzz about it. (And there's a clear route through to SPF seniors (taking boys in 2017)).

Calling Dame Bradburys (saffron walden|) parents Saffron Walden

About to move to SW in the summer. Kids signed up to Dame B's. We haven't found a house yet! Are parents commuting a long way into the school? Would love a 5-bed but seems impossible if not spending silly money. Where does everyone live?!

If we move further out (Hempstead etc), then our worry is that we'll be out of catchment for County High later and we'd like to have that option.

Looking forward to move!
