Hill House gets 'inadequate' OFSTED report

This article from today's Guardian might interest some of you.

Yeah. Many comments on the petition have been deleted and a few I'd read that were not fully supportive of the school have definitely now disappeared which is ludicrous. The head master's latest letter to parents is not reassuring. Just banging on about leavers destinations and claiming ofsted's findings are incorrect. So if he's in denial about the problems, it's doubtful he'll be rectifying them. Very sad.

We have a space for our daughter at Hill House reception for sept 2015 but are since the latest report + the headmasters letter (shocking level of arrogance and ignorance) ; thinking of moving her to another school - I am wondering how many another parents are thinking the same and if not why?

any update to report on this school. or would a six month period following the December inspection be more realistic?

Any parents of HH pupils still at this thread? I only discovered the Ofsted report on HH school over the weekend & straight away alarm bells started ringing -

I have intimate knowledge of those old edwardian red bricked buildings in that area, as I once worked as a building chief engineer in a number of them - Including in that block.

This startled me so much, (the safety aspects of the report), well it was enough for me to request Ofsted re-investigate with emphasis on safety & also a request has been made to London Fire Brigade Inspector division for this schools area for a complance inspection to be carried out - immediately.

I presume you all know that that building block that houses No17 Cadogan Gardens, went up in flames in 2010. There have been serious shortfalls in safety in that whole block & not just the school.
