Leeds mums or mums to be

Hi, I moved to Leeds last year and although I have some friends in the area (I went to school in York) I an yet to make any mummy friends and find it hard to keep on a level with my non-mummy friends' interests. Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation? I have tried to make new friend via baby/toddler groups but haven't seemed to hit it off with anyone and the people there gave seemed very cliquey. I have a toddler and another on the way and being a full time mum means i don't have the opportunity to meet people at work. Any advice would be very welcome ?? x

I can meet any of those places. Just checked and yes it is Lakeside Cafe. Open 10am til 5pm.

My other half is from Leeds. We've wanted to move up here for a while for a better quality of life. I do love London but never wanted to raise our family there. My sons are 3 and 1/2years and 15 months old. x

The Sunday might be best if we go for Roindhay as there's a Parkrun there on a Saturday so it might be quite busy.

Can I say hi too - am sort of in the same position :) I have a 17mo DD and am 38+3 with #2. I am so far north Leeds that it can only tenulously be described as Leeds (near the airport).

Slight problem for me 2mro. Other half has to take the car to the garage in the morning. Not sure how long that'll take. So I guess you guys decide what time you can meet and if I can make this meet I will.
