Its worth checking out this Facebook page Staff & locals coming together to support a fantastic hospital.

I've heard that they will keep the treatment centre open but close off some of the rest. But it serves such a big area, I don't know how they can close it. I've not always been happy with the treatment there but I think that it was mainly due to time constraints so it's probably the same in every hospital.

It covers a huge area & pb'ro, cambridge & peterborough are so far away especially if your using public transport. The poor staff what a rubbish way to start the new yr

My next-door neighbour has been a nurse there for years. I hope this doesn't mean she'll lose her job.

Hospital staff are a community, looking after the community lets hope it ALL remains open

Realistically I don't think it will remain fully open. They won't close the treatment centre as it was so expensive & there would be a political outcry.

I think they will have to keep A&E open, Addenbrookes and PCH won't be able to cope with the extra load. Plus, if someone in St Ives was bleeding heavily then they'd be dead by the time they got to Longstanton the way the A14 is at the moment.
