Snap 4 kids nursery - experiences

We're looking for a nursery place for our 18 month old, just a few mornings a week, starting as soon as we can find one we like and that has space. I think our favourite so far is ACE but it's likely to be a long time before any slots come up there. We saw Snap 4 Kids and quite liked it but wondered if anyone had any experiences to share about it, I haven't been able to find much on line. Slightly wondering why it has space when almost everywhere else has long waiting lists. Any help or advice appreciated!

Don't know much about those two (although I have a friend who is moving her child out of one of them - possibly Snap?). But have you looked at the Chestnut Nursery on Greenend Road? It's fairly new, so still has places and I know quite a few parents who are sending their children there. We looked around and liked it ourselves, too.

Thanks, I haven't heard of Chestnut nursery so I'll have a look now.

Hi, i've had my children there for the last 5 years. My son for 4 years and my daughter for 3 years. I have been very happy with them, especially the baby room. The pre-school is hopeless and i've moved both of them before they were old enough. It's a very small, nurturing nursery, lots of hugs and creative input. The outside garden is nice as it has a huge tree so suncream isn't needed even in full on sunny days. I would recommend them. Originally we put our son in there with the view to move him to ACE when a space came up when he was a year old but he was so happy and settled we never did move. We also liked the fact that all the meals etc were catered for on site. They tried things i would have never thought of - curry, jumbalee etc etc and as a consequence he loves curry. It isn't as smart or as tidy as some of the other nurseries but if you can overlook that, it's a winner

That's really useful McDoogle, thank you. It confirms the impression we got. We're going to look at Chestnut tomorrow and then will make a decision

That's ok! Really glad you liked it, we did too when we saw it.
