Without Mum no picnic would be complete, as she bakes buttery scones and homemade jam to a treat.

craftandcrumpet · 02/07/2014 11:14

For me Location is key and sitting contemplating the scenery and location would be the icing on the picnic cupcakes!

angeleyes101 · 03/07/2014 21:45

Egg mayo sandwiches - the kids love them

Lexi1000 · 03/07/2014 22:54

A traditional picnic basket, bread, cheese, olives and dips. Perhaps a cheeky glass of Prosecco, strawberries and Kipling's The Just So Stories to read to in turn. Sunshine would be idyllic but in the absence of having it all, a blanket, wellies and laughter would more than suffice x
