I had chip shop chips last weekend...they were sooo good! Ate so much fruit the next day in an attempt to make myself feel less guilty!

Hi! I can do 3rd or 4th July. I am so busy these days, I guess I should make the most of it before I am home bound!

My eating has not been great and I spent Sunday smelling fumes whilst stripping wood... I felt so guilty and worried afterwards.
Shall we settle for 4th July and meet in North St? I can do after work (5.30ish) or after dinner (20ish).
What do you think?

yep, i can do any of those dates so happy to go with whatever suits. timewise, I would probably have a slight preference for the earlier time rather than the later but will go with the majority on that one.

I could do 5th but it would have to be a quick one after work for me as I am going out for dinner that night. Have we got a date?!

Ruidh yes I am going tonight - I'm nervous as I have to go it alone!! My DH is staying home with the wee man as we didnt even bother trying to arrange a babysitter, just arrived back from a weekend at my parents in Ireland so all a bit hectic. I like the sound of the topic tonight, practicalities and birth plans, so I'm going to brave it. I will look out for you! I'll be the one with the long brown hair and bags under my eyes after getting up for early flight this morning!

Well, homebirth group wasn't what I had pictured. Didn't want to say too much last night in case the too offence!

How did you feel about it?

I feel no more prepared than I did before. Though, perhaps did pick up on a few things that I hadn't thought of.
My husband is now petrified that the baby will arrive before the midwife and has visions of our dog swimming around the pool as I give birth!!

Hope you got some sleep after your early start yesterday!

i know what you mean - i did feel a bit like it raised more questions than answers. i also felt slightly mortified throughout that my husband wasnt there, also i bloody scraped our car on the way there so i couldnt stop thinking about that the whole way through!! am gonna stick with it though as its about the only thing i am doing to try and prepare so far!

looking forward to a proper chit chat on thurs - frogalou you can keep in touch and let us know how youre getting on and if you will manage to make it.

Hi! I went to Laizy Disy birthing class and it was great. We just talked about the actual birth and what can make it a wee bit easier :))

I think my work thing on Thursday is weather dependent so I should find out more on Wed night, I will keep you posted!
