Follong on from the record 200+ posts, Post here if you want to meet up.

On the previous thread we were trying out 1st April but OP OverMyDeadBody couldn't make it. I'll try some random dates and see if we get a decent group or even if it's just a few people they might want to meet anyway.

Previous meets have been at Milton Country Park but other suggestions welcome - some botanic gardens fans on the other thread too.

Please add your name and your preferred date from:

Sunday 25th March
Friday 20th April
Saturday 21st April

Are we on for the 21st then??

EauRouge · 11/04/2012 18:10

I think so. I'm waiting for someone else to make the decision Grin

AuntieBulgaria · 12/04/2012 21:48

Yep, I'm still up for the 21st, Milton C P cafe at 11.30.

Right then auntie and eau, I'll see you two at least on Sat at 11.30! I have no MN scarf but you'll be able to identify me by the small blond toddler and the 30 week bulge :)

Just the three of us then?

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 17/04/2012 20:02

I can still come along although I'm finding my 3 a right handful to take out on my own at the moment! They are 6, 4 and 19 months and the little one doesn't sit still much at the moment. I'll try and keep her in the pram and bring lots of snacks - will hopefully keep her still and I might actually get to talk to some of you if I'm lucky.

Fishandjam · 18/04/2012 15:48

damon, my DS won't sit still for long either - if the weather's OK we could maybe take a stroll to the play area and let them fall off things while we chat get some exercise?

EauRouge · 18/04/2012 15:50

That sounds like a plan, I've got a 14mo who is desperate to keep up with her 3.6yo big sister.

AuntieBulgaria · 19/04/2012 16:31

What's it like there if it's wet, is there anything to do indoors? I shall bring a change of clothes for my eldest, she'll insist on playing outside even in a monsoon.

AuntieBulgaria · 19/04/2012 22:55

Erm, not much to do apart from eat cake but the park is still fine in the drizzle. Am going to turn up without DD but Dh will drop her off after swimming.

everybodysang · 20/04/2012 10:29

oh nooo I've only just noticed this - just read through the other thread (I'm pretty sure there are some people I might know on there...). Am busy tomorrow. Hope it's fun, and not too wet - if you do it again I'll come!

EauRouge · 20/04/2012 17:14

How will we recognise each other, will someone be carrying a bag of pom bears?

I'll be wearing a checked shirt and jeans and I'll have my DDs, 3.6yo and 14mo in a black sling.

Fishandjam · 20/04/2012 19:47

May have to duck out, sorry ladies - feeling pretty awful (physically) and mentalling that it's the same liver problems I had in DS's pregnancy :( I'll see you if I see you, I think!

MrsNouveauRichards · 20/04/2012 19:55

Hello (namechange here, previous DDPW)

Just wanted to say hope you have a great time. Sorry I can't make it. Dd has a party at 1pm which pretty much throws the whole day out.

Please let me know of any more :)

AuntieBulgaria · 20/04/2012 22:18

Sorry to hear you're unwell. Hope you feel better soon FishandJam.

Ok, I have glasses and badly dyed red hair. I will be child-free to start, so skipping gaily hither and thither with hot drinks and a chocolate biscuit all to myself.

I think we're Eau Rouge, Damon Salvatore and me. An0thername, Neverknowinglyunderstood, FishandJam we'll see you if you can make it. Smile

AuntieBulgaria · 21/04/2012 11:25

Am out the front of the cafe on a soggy chair but in glorious sunshine. I have brought a bag of Pom bears.

AuntieBulgaria · 21/04/2012 11:30

Which dd (who has finished swimming) is now eating.

Throughgrittedteeth · 21/04/2012 11:44

Oh bloody bloody hell! Sad I lost my phone 2 weeks ago so my MN time has been sparse as I'm having to use an old fashioned laptop. I completely forgot it was today, I'm so sorry! I really wanted to come as well. I will definitely make the next one though with bells on! I hope you had fun.

Throughgrittedteeth · 21/04/2012 11:46

sorry pressed send too early, meant to add that the cake at MCP is FIT.
Brew

AuntieBulgaria · 21/04/2012 20:53

Sorry you missed it 'Teeth. It was compact and bijou - me, Eau Rouge and An0thername but that was quite nice in a not being too overwhelming kind of way.

We did have to take refuge from the rain in the kids' play house at one point but given my DD asked if we could go back to the park in the afternoon to play with 'those' ( by which she meant Eau Rouge's lovely girls) I think a good time was had by all.

OP posts:
YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 21/04/2012 20:57

I'm sorry I didn't come

I felt a bit of a fraud without any young children to bring
If there's another I'll bring a dog instead Grin

AuntieBulgaria · 21/04/2012 21:00

Youvecat - An0thername came kid free and I was trying to but Dh got DD dressed after swimming really quickly!
