OMG went to sale. It was amazing! 3 wheel buggie with foot muff, rain hood etc £25!
I bought older version off the sale board here last year for £50 without foot muff and sandy. And knew it was sandy when I bought it and happily parted with my money because I thought that was a great bargain!

Freezer bags of PJs for DS £3/£4 each with two pairs inside!
Brand new looking table toy thing for older babies/toddlers with interactive music and flippy, spinny entertainment what-nots £4!
John Lewis cot £25!
Waterproof coats for toddlers, £4 when new is £27!
Leather baby shoes just a couple of pounds each - new is £15!
Balance bike - looked brand new - just £40!
Not to mention the acres of toys, books and clothes or the odd designer/cashmere outfit!!!!
I would also happily have paid my £2 just to go to the cafe. It looked like a WI bake-off. Just stunning. However, I have a plan for the next sale (not dissimilar to my zombie plan) because it was heaving with people.
- Get there early and take the early entry option if not NCT member (I am but some people had bought advance tickets).
- Once in do a quick reccie of the sale. Or better still ask where clothes/buggies/toys or whatever you're particularly after is before you get in.
- Run around the sale grabbing bargains as quickly as possible.
- Saunter into the cafe to have a coffee and a cake/sandwich while those not in the know queue up for 20 mins to pay. You could leisurely tot up your bargains and get money ready to pay.
- Half an hour before the sale ends take your purchases on a meander to the till grabbing any bargains that have emerged after the hoards have surged through.
- Walk through to till, pay, grab a goody bag and buy one of the big white bags for 50p - mine looks really useful size and sturdy.
- Go home and gaze at bargains and sift through goodie bag.
- Marvel at your thrifty green ways!
